Yin + Reiki - Forgiveness

Reiki is an energy healing treatment that works holistically on the whole body, mind and spirit. Reiki is a treatment where natural healing vibrations are transmitted through the hands of a Reiki practitioner to the body of the recipient. The purpose of a Reiki treatment is to relieve stress and pain, induce relaxation, release emotional blockages, accelerate natural healing, balance subtle bodies energies and support other medical modalities including traditional therapies. Emma will channel the Reiki energy through her hands and direct it to students where she feels it is needed.
In the Bhagavad Gita, forgiveness is named as a way to ennoble the soul. This practice allows us to set ourselves free from past hurt and pain, so that we can sit in the present moment with peace and awareness.
Reiki Practitioner Emma Sinclair and Yoga Teacher Ellie Johns will again be joining forces to bring you this incredibly relaxing and healing Yin & Reiki experience.
Indulge in this 2 Hour 15 Minute Yin & Reiki class where you will be guided by the relaxing sounds of Ellie's soothing voice, with long-held yin poses and meditative sounds. Emma will be spending time with each person in the room, providing reiki healing energy throughout the class.
This beautiful evening will be held at our cosy and intimate studio from 6:30-8:45pm on Friday, 22nd May, 2026.

Yin + Pin: Autumn to Winter

As the seasons shift from the refining of Autumn into the deep chill of Winter, we move from emerging Yin into its deepest expression. Join us for Yin & Pin, a deeply nourishing experience combining the meditative stillness of Yin Yoga with the energetic refinement of Acupuncture.
Acupuncture works on a subtle level, stimulating points along the body’s meridian system to clear blockages, restore balance, and encourage the free movement of qi, or life force. These tiny needles are placed with care and intention, helping you settle even more deeply into your body’s natural healing state.
This time of year is the crossing over of Autumn into Winter, which in Traditional Chinese Medicine signifies a movement from the element of Metal into Water. At this time, yin energy is at its highest, with short, dark days. We can support ourselves by balancing rising yin with staying warm from the inside and outside, hydrating, and taking light exercise.
Guided by Yoga Therapist Gen Braund and Acupuncturist and Chinese Medicine Practitioner Kate O’Leary, this immersive 2 hour and 15 minute practice weaves together the stillness of Yin yoga, meditative sound, and acupuncture to support your seasonal transition.

Winter Solstice - A Journey Inwards

The Winter Solstice is what is often referred to as Midwinter - the longest night of the year, when the sun seems to pause, and the world holds its breath. It encourages rest, introspection, and a drawing inwards. We can either resist this calling, or we can dive deep into it. Winter Solstice is a time of reflection, and to release this past year's grief. In dwelling in this darkness, we can learn more about ourselves and plant seeds of intention that will blossom in the eventual sunshine of Midsummer.
Together we will create a sacred and supportive space that will allow you to dive deep within and soothe the endless movement of the mind. Our intention is to hold an energetic container for you to explore the depths of your being, and to help you connect with your innermost Self.
Through meditation, we will guide you to quiet the mental chatter and find a space of mental stillness. Journalling will help you to connect with your inner voice and explore your thoughts and feelings on a deeper level. And finally, in our Yin yoga practice, we will guide you through gentle poses that will help you release any physical or emotional blockages, and connect with the wisdom of your body.
Join Ellie and Gen for this transformative 3-hour practice, and allow yourself to be guided on a journey of self-discovery and inner exploration. Together, we will create a space where you can feel safe, supported, and inspired to connect with the depths of your Self, and the infinite universe that lies within you.
