Yin + Reiki: Truth
Friday September 18th, 6:30-8:45pm
Yin Yoga is a slow-paced style of yoga incorporating principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine; a true practice in unwinding and letting go. In this class, we will move through some slow, long-held, floor-based postures, using bolsters, blankets, and blocks to ensure you feel supported and relaxed. Reiki is an energy healing treatment that works holistically on the whole body, mind and spirit. The purpose of a Reiki treatment is to relieve stress and pain, induce relaxation, release emotional blockages, accelerate natural healing, balance subtle bodies energies and support other medical modalities including traditional therapies.
Satya, or truth, is the second of the five yamas, or yogic ethical observances. Building from a foundation of non-harm, we then move to truthfulness as our next step; being truthful in our words and actions, both to others and to ourselves, and aligning how we live our lives with what is true and real.
Reiki Practitioner Emma Sinclair and Yoga Therapist Gen Braund will again be joining forces to bring you this incredibly relaxing and healing Yin and Reiki experience.
Indulge in this 2 Hour 15 Minute Yin and Reiki class where you will be guided by the relaxing sounds of Gen's soothing voice, with long-held yin poses and meditative sounds. Emma will be spending time with each person in the room, providing reiki healing energy throughout the class.
This beautiful evening will be held at our cosy and intimate studio from 6:30-8:45pm on Friday, 18th September 2026.
Book early to ensure you have reserved a spot for this healing experience.
SOMA: A Nervous System Reset Retreat
Saturday October 17th, 1:00-8:00pm
Life can leave us feeling like we're constantly "on" - moving from one thing to the next, never quite catching up. Exhausted throughout the day, yet unable to truly switch off at night. At times we feel overwhelmed and reactive; at others, flat, disconnected or stuck. These experiences aren't something to push through - they're an invitation to better understand your nervous system and the way your body responds to the demands of everyday life.
SOMA is a one-day immersive retreat with yoga teacher Ellie Johns, music therapist Tom McGrath, and massage therapist Tara Tuohy, exploring the relationship between movement, sound, stress and rest. Rather than avoiding stress, we'll discover how intentional challenge and deep restoration work together to build resilience, expand your Window of Tolerance, and help you move through life with greater ease.
A defining feature of SOMA is the intentional use of live sound throughout the day. More than background music, sound becomes an active part of the experience, guiding moments of activation, reflection and deep rest. Inspired by the ancient yogic practice of Nada Yoga and informed by modern music therapy, immersive soundscapes are woven throughout the retreat to support both resilience and restoration.
Your day includes:
A grounding arrival meditation and intention setting
An immersive movement and live sound experience
Practical education on the nervous system and the Window of Tolerance
Take-home tools to support regulation in everyday life
A nourishing candlelit dinner
